Mark Oltarsh came to Bauer Publishing in February 2006 as the associate publisher of In Touch and Life&Style Weekly. He was promoted to publisher of In Touch in November following the formation of a new sales team for both magazines which produced a 35% and 15% increase respectively, to In Touch and Life&Style Weekly’s advertising paging over 2005. Prior to Bauer Publishing, Oltarsh served as publisher of Condé Nast Publication’s Jane as well as associate publisher of Dennis Publishing's Maxim and Stuff. At Jane, Maxim and Stuff, Mr. Oltarsh was responsible for building formidable publishing teams and spearheading major sales and marketing initiatives. Under his guidance, Jane, Maxim and Stuff showed dramatic increases in their fashion, automotive, fragrance, entertainment and packaged goods business. He also worked at Vanity Fair, Details and Spin. Prior to his career in the magazine industry, Mr. Oltarsh was a studio musician and published songwriter with a Hot 100 single to his name. Mr. Oltarsh attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston MA.
