Molly MacDermot serves as the editor-in-chief of J-14 and M magazines, the most popular entry magazines into the celebrity genre. MacDermot launched M in January 2001 and quickly saw it become the fastest growing teen entertainment magazine on the newsstand.
Prior to M, Molly was one of the original staffers of J-14, another successful teen publication, where she was a Senior Editor for over two years. Molly started her career at The New Yorker, and has worked at Marie Claire in Australia and Redbook magazine in New York. Molly has written numerous entertainment books on pop stars, including Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, 'N Sync and Mandy Moore. She has appeared on various entertainment television shows, including MTV, VH1, Inside Edition, and several morning programs to discuss today's biggest stars and trends. |
