Marisa Sandora serves as the editor-in-chief for both QuizFest and ASTROgirl, Bauer's fun new titles dedicated to delivering teens exactly what they want: Celebs, quizzes and astrology. Prior to joining Bauer, Sandora gained experience across multiple genres. She began her career as a reporter for People, interviewing stars such as Celine Dion and Elvis Costello for the magazine's music section. From there, she began the first leg of her career at Bauer Publishing as the entertainment editor at TWIST magazine. After dedicating two years at Ladies Home Journal as associate editor, Sandora returned to Bauer's M magazine as deputy editor in 2003. While at the magazine, Sandora created QuizFest, initially as a special issue. After an outstanding response from readers, Sandora now leads the charge for Quizfest as well as ASTROgirl, which are both published quarterly. Ms. Sandora graduated from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and baby daughter.
