Ryan McConville joined Bauer in 2003 as Marketing Manager and later became Creative Services Director for the Bauer Teen Group. In early 2007, Ryan was promoted to Advertising Director of the Bauer Teen Group and subsequently to Publisher. During Ryan’s tenure, the company’s three teen celebrity titles (J-14, Twist and M) have increased advertising revenue by +69%.
Previously, Ryan McConville was a Senior Marketing Manager at Rolling Stone Magazine, a Wenner Media publication. He has also held sales positions at the industry trade publication Sales Fax and the niche arts and culture magazine SHOUT.
A long-time New Yorker, Ryan is a graduate of the Cornell University. When he is not at Bauer, Ryan is involved in the New York music scene, playing bass for the punk band, Neutral Mute. Ryan currently resides in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. |
