Dan Wakeford serves as the editor-in-chief of In Touch and Life&Style, Bauer Publishing Group’s leading celebrity weekly magazines. Wakeford, who has more than 16 years of experience in the celebrity-news business, joined Bauer in October 2002 and has since played an instrumental role in the success of its entertainment titles. Beginning his tenure at Bauer with the launch of In Touch, he served as news editor, overseeing the magazine’s celebrity news and entertainment coverage. In 2008, Wakeford was named editor-in-chief of Life&Style, where he has solidified the magazine’s place in the market as the No. 1 weekly style authority.
In 2012, he took the helm at In Touch while remaining editor-in-chief of Life&Style. Under Wakeford’s leadership, Bauer’s entertainment magazines are top sellers on the newsstand, providing readers with the biggest breaking celebrity news and photos, with a look inside Hollywood in every issue.
Earlier in his career, Wakeford held various editorial positions in the U.K., including news editor of fellow Bauer title Heat.
