BAUER PUBLISHING ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENTS OF NEW PUBLISHERS
FOR IN TOUCH WEEKLY AND LIFE & STYLE WEEKLY


Englewood Cliffs, NJ (November 10, 2006) -- Bauer Publishing is pleased to announce the appointment of new publishers for In Touch and Life & Style. Mark Oltarsh has been promoted to publisher of In Touch after serving as associate publisher for In Touch and Life & Style, and Neil Goldstein has been promoted to publisher of Life & Style after a successful tenure as publisher of Bauer’s Teen Group. The announcement was made today by Ian Scott, President and CEO of Bauer Advertising Sales, and the promotions are effective immediately.

Bauer Publishing has enjoyed significant success with both titles. In Touch was recently named to Advertising Age’s 17th annual A-List, honoring the 10 best magazines of the year. According to the Publishing Information Bureau (PIB), In Touch’s ad pages increased by 38 percent from January – September 2006 versus the same period in the previous year. In Touch’s readership has also jumped by 60 percent to 4.9 million readers — the largest growth of all consumer magazines, according to the MRI Spring 2006 Study. In addition, In Touch was named the 2002 Magazine Launch of the Year by magazine expert Samir Husni.

Similarly, Life & Style is now the fastest growing newsstand magazine in the country according to the recent 2006 ABC FAS-FAX report. Life & Style's average newsstand sales for the period grew by 227,000 weekly copies sold, compared to the same period last year (+48.3%). In addition, Life & Style currently averages total paid circulation of nearly 705,000, up from 471,000 in the 1st half of 2005, an increase of over 49 percent. Life & Style was also named 2004 Magazine Launch of the Year by Samir Husni.

Mark Oltarsh joins In Touch after serving as associate publisher of the Bauer Entertainment Group, where he oversaw both In Touch and Life & Style. Previously, Oltarsh served as publisher at Jane magazine. He has also served as associate publisher at Maxim and Stuff, sales development director at Vanity Fair, and has held managerial positions at Spin and Interview magazines.

Neil Goldstein comes to Life & Style from Bauer Publishing's Teen Division. Previously, Goldstein was the national advertising director at Premiere, and he had served as national advertising manager of Modern Bride..

Oltarsh and Goldstein will replace Bob Davidowitz, who had served as publisher for both titles.
